What does the ‘career guidance process’ involve?

A consultation is organised whereby three areas (aptitude, interest and personality) are investigated. There is also exploration of past experiences by way of interview and testing.  Tests used are approved by the Psychological Testing Centre (PTC)

The tests that we use

Research shows that the match between your job and your personality plays a major role in your job satisfaction and success. People who know exactly the sort of job they want usually find employment more quickly than those who are not clear. This is because they are more confident and they target only the jobs they know would suit them. Furthermore they end up with a job that is likely to give them satisfaction and success.

We use one of the world’s most respected instruments: The Hogan Personality Inventory (HPI) – ‘An inventory of the personality characteristics needed for success in careers, relationships & life’. The HPI looks at your preferences and helps to identify your personality type. This in turn helps to recognize the factors you would need to get job satisfaction.
